Supplying nursing staff requires matching nurses to requirements on a daily basis. This software suite will do this for you. The following walk through will give you a basic idea of how the software operates but does not cover all screens and all facilities.

Bookings start from the screen below. Here contact and regular shift details are stored. Taking a booking is a matter of setting the start day and then clicking on the required shift.

Once a shift booking is taken, even if another call comes in the requirement will not be forgotten. A list of unallocated shifts is just one click away (see below) and if there are any unallocated shifts, they are presented to each user when they first log in.

When you are ready to allocate work the software presents your options with a display showing matching candidates. The use of colour helps avoid mixing morning, afternoon and night shifts. For difficult-to-solve problems the criteria can be relaxed revealing, say, those with the skill who do not normally work at that location.

The software stores a diary for each nurse. Through the use of colour this will tell you at a glance what shifts are being worked (morning, afternoon, night). The screen provides tick boxes to mark shifts seen on a timesheet and colours to indicate availability. There is provision for four telephone numbers with auto dialling (depending on hardware) and a link which generates an email. If the nurse has a website this can also be linked with a button that will launch your browser with the specified URL

The system also stores a variety of details such as a photo and the next of kin. There are also facilities for making non-specific notes and setting dated reminders for such things as reminding the user that the nurse needs a new certification.

When a timesheet arrives, all shifts and financial details move to the Archive section. From here invoices and payslip lists can be generated. The system also provides the option to export the information to a separate accounting package or spreadsheet. The system archives old shifts and should any query come up, the relevant details can be called up in seconds.

In a similar way to the un-allocated shifts screen, the To-do list presents itself on log in if there are any jobs due that day or actions from previous days not marked as done. Like unallocated shifts these items can also be searched at any time - say when a query comes up or when you want to get ahead.
