The software can run either
on a PC or on
an Apple Mac. The design
is based around a monitor size of 1024x768 and although it is possible
run on smaller screens this size is recommended to avoid large amounts
of scrolling.
We ask all but the smallest customers to consider using a server for SkillMatch as performance is much reduced and more frequent backups are possible. If server hardware/software cost is an issue currently we find the cheapest option is to install a Mac OSX system and we are happy to advise on a suitable machine and to set this up for you. Once set up the system will run for extended periods without any need for user intervention so knowledge of OSX is not required for you to consider this option. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
